Baxter 575 GMRS Repeater
The Baxter 575 GMRS repeater is an open, on-air communications resource serving Mountain Home, Baxter County and surrounding portions of the eastern Arkansas Ozarks. The repeater receives on 462.575 MHz, uses a 467.575 MHz input with a +5.000 MHz offset, and requires a 127.3 Hz CTCSS tone.
Owned by WRBK701, Baxter 575 is sponsored by the Arkansas GMRS Repeater Group and linked to its statewide repeater system. The installation uses a 40-watt commercial repeater, an antenna mounted approximately 150 feet above the site and backup power equipment intended to help maintain operation during electrical outages.
